Mesh

Ron-Vik has the capability to combine both synthetic and metallic meshes with a wide variety of plastics. By using the pull down menu above you can access information on many of the meshes that we use. There is no standardization for synthetic meshes but the mesh charts for the metallic mesh can be used as a reference point. Contact your Ron-Vik sales representative if you need more information.

Plastic

Ron-Vik molds products using two different methods. Our pot molding process uses vinyl plastisol (PVC) in a variety of durometers (40A-60D) to mold flanges and gaskets. This process is only capable of molding plastisol.

Our insert injection molding process is capable of molding most common thermoplastics and TPE's. We commonly run:

  • Nylon (filled, unfilled, clear, heat stabilized)
  • Acetal (copolymer, homopolymer)
  • Polyethylene (HDPE, LDPE)
  • Polypropylene (filled, unfilled)
  • Polystyrene (clear, opaque)
  • ABS (clear, opaque)
  • Santoprene™ (many durometers)
  • Geolast™ (may durometers)

We have the ability to mold other materials in addition to these. Contact your Ron-Vik sales representative if you would like to discuss other material options.
